HEALTH & SAFETY POLICIES
Updated 7/19/2023
The Granada Theatre Health and Safety Policies have been informed by and in accordance with CDC recommendations as well as guidelines from the State of California and local officials to create our policies and procedures.
Policies for all 2023-2024 season events will be determined in conjunction with evolving state, local and presenter guidelines. Every event’s policies will be updated here and communicated to ticket holders via email.
The following policies are currently in effect and are subject to change in compliance with revisions to national, state, local and presenter guidelines and requirements. We encourage all patrons, regardless of vaccination status, to wear masks while indoors.
Please do not attend if you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, or if you are feeling ill. Thank you for your cooperation.
DETAILED FACE COVERING POLICY
Currently the California Public Health Department strongly recommends that all persons, regardless of vaccine status, wear a mask in large indoor public settings including theaters.
Certain presenters may require face coverings. When in effect all attendees age 3 and up must wear effective masks such as surgical masks, two-layer cloth masks, or N-95 or equivalent masks.
Bandanas, neck gaiters, masks with exhalation valves and shield-like face coverings are not allowed. Bearded patrons should consider wearing a bandana or gaiter over a mask.
When this policy is in effect, failure to comply is grounds for immediate removal from the theater and possible restrictions on future attendance.
All UCSB Arts & Lectures events also have their complete policies on their website. Please visit their Health & Safety page for updates regarding their entry policies.
Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in creating a safe and inviting environment for live performances at The Granada.
