Mission

The Jurkowitz Center for Community Engagement, a program of the Santa Barbara Center for the Performing Arts, identifies unmet community needs related to the performing arts and by the appropriate fulfillment of those needs, ensures the community is actively engaged with, and inspired by, The Granada Theatre.

Programs

Designed to reach and involve community members in unique ways that address unmet needs, programs from the Jurkowitz Center for Community Engagement are always evolving and growing. Feedback from the community is a catalyst for what we do and ‘tomorrow’s’ programs promise to continue and deepen the mission of the Center.
